Thread: Battery losing power fast

I have a new Wildfire and I have fully charged it both in the mains and on my PC but the charge is being used up even though I have not even made a call or sent a text. I have not gone onto the internet either. Any help would be gratefully received.Htc told me to run the battery down completely then charge it for 8 hours, which I have done twice but to no avail. Wondered if anyone else has this problem.

A weak cellphone signal will use up battery power quickly as it tries to find a stronger signal; this is for any cellphone.

I have had to recharging mine once or twic a day. more time you use it like using the keyboard or playing with apps.will do that, discharging the battery watch your usage, using power saver, and cut down on the apps except when needed. and use kb lock button at the top.
