Thread: google contacts will not sync with my wildfire

When I first got my wildfire I could update my google contacts on a pc connection then after my phone did it's sync the updated contacts would be in the phones, "people". But now the phone won't sync with my google account either automatically or manually. Can anybody tell me why?

This problem came back in November '11, Has anybody else had a google contacts sync issue.
The only difference now is that I'm now on a GiffGaff sim whereas before I was on O2, but as GiffGaff runs on the O2 network I cannot see that to be the problem. Anyone who has experienced Google sync issues and managed to cure them please reply. Thanks
