Smile How to transfer photos, media and Outlook phone - PC

I had a problem recently where I couldn't transfer my photos from the phone to PC.

I read the information booklet that came with the HTC phone under the heading 'synchronize your phone and pc'

    BUT...

If you don't have Windows Vista you have to download this Active sync programme for Windows

Smartphone Freeware: Downloading the file ActiveSync_4.5.msi ...

Once you have downloaded this programme:

    1. Connect your phone to your PC. Windows Mobile Device centre will open. On the screen, click set up your device

    2. Select the information you want to synchronize.

    3. Click next

    4. Type in a name for your smartphone.

    5. Click set up

When you finished the wizard, Windows Mobile Device Centre synchronises your phone automatically. Notice the outlook e-mails and other information will appear on your phone after synchronisation.

But if you don't want to synchronise all your data you can also run deselect the sync option within ActiveSync. You could also just mount the phone as a USB drive and transfer whatever you want manually with any need for active sync.

Don't you need WM7 zune to sync your phone?
