HTC firmware patch 2250.21.51002.513 is required to fix this issue according to MS tech support. However it seems HTC are practically unaware this firmware exists, or even when I can get hold of it. I accept it's pushed out via Microsoft\Windows Update so they may not be sure, but any *acknowledgement* of this problem would be great - HTC - Is there an issue with Zune playback on Windows Phones?

i have 2 htc surround phones and both are having this issue (zune freezing), HTC support tell me to recover to NODO with zune that is their only solution, I am out of warranty so can't return the phones, my carrier told me they don't support the OS only HTC does

also where is tethering on this phone, there is a custom rom to unblock the feature but I don't want to brick my phone...

already replaced one of my phones with a galaxy s2 1 month ago but I already miss windows phone, here in canada windows phone are not available anymore through carriers, I might have to dish out the big bucks for a nokia or samsing phone on ebay but I kinda feel cheated by HTC who don't support their phones

I am making everyone I know aware that HTC is not a brand to buy, already converted alot of people to nokia and samsung

I have the HTC Surround, didnt notice this problem until I got Mango... Its driving me crazy. Can't play more than a few tracks, it just stops playing and normally freezes the phone. Going to give HTC one last chance to fix this on both my HTC Surround phones, if not I will never buy from this company again!
