Thread: laptop does not finde my WP7 phone

Hello,

I have htc hd7. It was working properly until about a month ago. Now whenever i try to connect it to my laptop (windows 7 x64) pc does not react to phone and cant see it. Phone itself is charging. There is no beep on connection wiht pc, also laptop does not prompt to install it as a new device, also i cant find it in device manager. I have tried some solutions in other forums but none helped.
Restarting phone does not help, reinstalled zune (few times), bought new cable just in case old one is broken... Maybe anyone knows what to do coz i'm desperate :/

ok i managed to make it work by uninstalling zune, deleting everything that was connected with zune from registry, then installing zune fresh. Thats when my phone was found by pc (the bleep sound when coonnected and all) then zune prompted an update for phone, naturally i tried too update, but that fu*king phone didnt reconect to pc on step 6 of update ("restarting phone" or sonething like that). wtf is going on,

i tried to do same steps like befre but it didnt work. Im getting really tempted to throw this phone away.

p.s. Is this official htc forum ? or just fan site ?

It is fan website....Just try to reinstall the zune again i'm sure it will help you ... may be there is any setting which was left at that time..
